Why do I need an FA qualification?

Modified on Thu, 1 Feb, 2018 at 2:09 PM

Having an FA qualification is an indication that you have reached a recognised level of competence.

It also provides a degree of reassurance for parents and carers of younger children that you may coach.

The qualifications will extend your knowledge of technical detail and will also cover the organisation and delivery of safe and enjoyable coaching sessions for players, provide practical drills to develop players' skills, and give you guidance and ideas for coaching sessions.

Having minimum qualifications is a requirement for clubs aspiring to reach FA Charter Standard status and beyond.
